Oreo Blue, a Fayetteville-based jazz and blues band, has been entertaining crowds with its high energy, live performance blues music since its inception in 1991. Its members, Stephen Boudreaux, Gary Hutchison and Rod Williamson, wanted to perform blues-oriented music that would be widely accepted and enjoyed. With the release of its six albums, Oreo Blue has established a solid reputation with its blistering saxophone and guitar solo work, strong rhythm section, powerful vocals and some of the best original material recorded in the region. Oreo Blue has been named "Blues Band of the Year" five times, and was recently named the number one "Hendrix Tribute for the Year" with the release of its full-length CD/DVD video tribute to Jimmy Hendrix that was endorsed by the Hendrix family. Performing for standing-room-only clubs, festivals and private parties, Oreo Blue is music that hits you in your ears, goes to your heart, and then straight to your hips!
